There's only going to be more arguments in the coming season and the vast majority of people here get fed up of it. The same person started at least five of these arguments last year and is now pretending to be only interested in "light hearted banter".

Hence the constant Hillsborough and thieving Scousers jibes by him which were denied and then edited out by him...

Anyway, to keep the peace (?) within this forum and to let the majority of people have a good time here I shall retreat to my hovel permanently and not visit here nor the Chateau. ( Or indeed, Kev's sweaty old Lodge )

It seems a bit odd anyway to be contributing to a Danny Baker forum when I never get to hear him (Thommo's cds aside) and moots are out of the question anyway for the moment. I never watch The Simpsons or listen to Dylan. And who wouldn't want a smaller phone bill?

Enjoy the football season one and all. And when's there's arguments cropping up, have a look in the "topic starter" column. Don't say I didn't warn you....(Good luck Dave G)

It would be appreciated if you remained around sir. Be advised that if you do not reconsider, I will be forced to enforce Section (33)(b)(iii) of the Treehouse Handbook which states that:

If you really mean it when you say you want the majority of people to have a good time here, then stay, you certainly brighten my day with your humour. (Anyway, as far as I can work out the majority of people on here are Richardx and Mick!)
You could always support the mighty Ipswich, then when people say "They're shit" you just think, good point, well made.

At the risk of getting my head bitten off, could I suggest the following:

Dead - DON'T stalk off in a huff mate, you contribute really well to this board (IMO). Suddenly getting venemous about Karl and then leaving like this would be a poor legacy.

Karl - in general your posted responses seem well thought out and reasonable. You've apologised for previous transgressions - however you don't seem to be able to resist a little dig/jibe at Dead each post. Stop it. It doesn't help things.

May I suggest you both calm down and step back a bit - perhaps try looking at it from the perspective of bemused onlookers like myself. Or alternatively, take this off-list?

That's my two cents - use it, ignore it, hate me, your choice. I'm new, I'm thick skinned. I'm hoping I can help.

I'm hoping Charlton stay up.

There have been many times on this board when I have felt like I have been fighting a losing battle. Subjects such as the Simpsons, Sci-Fi and elves have drawn us closer together.

I for one feel this board would be a worse place without you contributing. I hope you reconsider as I do believe the vast vast majority enjoy your work.
