There seems to be some nasty rumour going around that our beloved CJ has hit the eject button due to various comments made by other people.

Without going into the whys and wherefores of all this, as I note that they are well documented elsewhere, might I be the first to say that the Treehouse is much the poorer for the absence of one of my favourite Treehousers.

However, knowing as I do that she wouldn't hold much truck with anything over sentimental, I will confine myself to saying...Jane - get your arse in gear and get back here. Now.

(Hey, she might kill me, but I'm willing to make the sacrifice)

I'll second that and I hope she doesn't kill me for highlighting it in my recent posts.

Kev, believe me it is not YOU who should be worried. Behind that silence is a VERY angry woman....

Maybe we could share her tasks around a bit. GOB could wear the gloves, Vixen could wear her shoes, and Rev, Kev, Hawkeye, Bribox, Brilleaux, RichardX, Fabio, Simon T and Olav could go round beating people up.

Come back girl, we miss you !

All right, fuck it, I'm annoyed now. This has always been my favourite of my favourites. We've had arseholes on here before, we'll have them again. Christ, we can't go away and leave it to them. If this means anything here (and it does) it's worth putting a fucking marker down and saying NO, you do not push me around, you do not push me out. Stand firm, be counted, be one of the good guys. CJ, you're one of us, always will be.

I've never met CJ, yet I feel through here that I know her. We have differences over politics and my respect for her is no less for it. She is a cast iron cornerstone of this establishment and we are all poorer for her absence. Marcus on form is a great read, but personal attacks have no place here. We are brethen united in our love of the trivial, bizarre and the off kilter and I'd hate to see anyone forced away from this broadest of churches. I'd like to see an unreserved apology from the gentleman and the return of the lady. No-one's bigger than the treehouse, but the treehouse is greater than all of us. Now let's lace daisies and be any good.

Mwahs all around.

I have missed you all too.

In fact I have just returned from a moot in the City where I have met even more lovely treehousers.

I can honestly say that, even though not long ago I never imagined meeting anyone from the internet, I have never met such lovely people. Clearly I am glad I am not related to some of them (and I suspect some are glad they are not related to me) but there is not one I would not gladly share a beer or three with on a regular basis.

Anyway - the mouted pound is now mounted and varnished and ready for the presentation on 2nd November.

Welcome back CJ. Now let's see you and Marcus kiss and make up shall we?

Just teasing, would hate to see either party on another extended strop.

Threaten Jane. Yes, that would be a sensible thing to do, wouldn't it?

Welcome back. You've been missed.
