It breaks my heart.It really does - but this place is tainted now. I used to come in here and the sheer irrelevance of it all brought joy to the heart. For someone too complex and introspective to see what we were doing was nothing more than brief escapism from the spit we daily wipe from our cheeks - dying loved ones, debt, and the stomach-churning tragedy we see, not in films but in our real lives - I find unforgivable. But to do it for fun is the most atrocious obcenity. Andrew, please delete me as moderator. I shall never return here again.IP: Logged |

Yeah but... despite what I said earlier, it is still a good place, isn't it? I got a warm, fuzzy feeling from loads of the posts on here tonight from Mick, Richardx, Kev to name but three, plus, OK, Yellow Sub (who I still rank as my curmudgeon of choice, Mark, sorry old spud). I will allow the glass or three of a rather agreeable chardonnay didn't do any harm either. IP: Logged |
