Any parent will tell you that you have to let your children go.

The whole assuption of the moderator role was pathetic.

We've got dropped threads, editing of people messages and banning of people who, I believe apologised. An apology that the Rev accepted. Then we have a pathetic storming off which lasted about two days, even though you still found time to chop out a couple of threads.
If there is a general precident for this on other sites, moderators generally stay out of sight.
I like it here but I've got enough sense to realise I come here because I like it, I don't need it. That is what makes it lighthearted.
If you want a lighthearted site then fine, put that on the front. List the elements that are disallowed. List the illegal subjects, and count the tumbleweeds.

Marcus has found somebody who responds irrationally to critism and is pressing to see what happens. If it bugs you so much learn not to respond. but if you just wish to appear as paranoid then equally fine construct an alias and we are probably all bright enough to see it for that, in presicely the way DeadElrond did so well.

But to post and moderate is pathetic.

And the very Reverend God asked me a question but when I tried to reply the thread was closed. Never seen that before. Not ever. Never even.

Maybe I need to increase the ratio of tonic to gin.
