So last night,I was sent out of the room whilst presents(yes,plural) were wrapped by excited children.Following the completion of this task,said children took it in turns to inform me,at ten minute intervals, that the presents were a closely guarded secret and that on no account was I to look ,for instance,under the bed.
Daisy then announced that one of my presents was just what I needed and I would love it,but she couldn't tell me what it was,as she was sworn to secrecy.
Me."I don't want to know.It's a secret.Don't tell me."
Her."I won't."
Me."Good.I hope it's a dressing gown."
Her."I can't tell you it's a secret."
Me."Good"
Her."If it is though,can I have your old one to play with."
Me."Yes."
Her."It's from Debenhams."
It's very nice.And so is my Simpsons chess set.Might invite Mr.Submarine round for a game.
